A return

Standard

It’s been a while, yes.

Since last posting I’ve been through fun times, and sad times, but now I’m fine. My motivation is not back as much as I’d like it to be, but I feel ready to continue blogging. I’m not as ready as I’d like to be (I got hit with some malware yesterday, which shook me a bit, and took away a few hours of prep-time), but I have enough to make a decent return.

Daily, I will post pictures of events which occurred during my break. First I’ll finish posting the pictures I took from my walk in Ulriksdal, then (essentially) vacation photos. I traveled outside Scandinavia for the first time, after all! I’ve also had the pleasure to eat a lot of tasty food, and those posts I’ll put somewhere fitting in the schedule. Also, I’ll try to write a little piece at least once a week.

Hope you’ll enjoy what’s to come!

Worki work work

Standard

Beginning with tomorrow (should have been today, but I slept too long and didn’t bother to go in and work), I am starting a commissioned job. It will last until the beginning of december. I’m actually behind schedule (not my fault), so in the weeks where I will animate like a maniac I will queue up pictures from the Chocolate Festival so the blog won’t go dead. During the Halloween week I have vacation, so during that time I will post regularly. Depending on how long the pictures last, there will be about one photo per day.

Holiday Absence

Standard

I was mostly gone my time at home (but suspiciously very active at tumblr). But with the new year and all I’ve got new motivation.

Like this; on the train the seat next to me changed from empty, to one guy, to another guy and finally empty. The first guy was watching Jersey Shore on his laptop. Ew.

2011 in review

Standard

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Syndey Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 26,000 times in 2011. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 10 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

Change In Direction I Suppose?…

Standard

Good news: I have functional internet!

Bad news: It still stinks.

I’m definitely sure that I’ve been spoiled rotten with my former awesome internet in the wall back home, and is now paying the price.

This new wireless crap, I don’t trust it fully. I can do most things with it, ‘cept getting it to work on Windows 7 (I have both 7 & XP if I failed to mention it before). Which, unless things change in the coming months, means I won’t be able to play the Old Republic once I get it. Annoying, but it won’t be ever lasting.

The point I want to make is that I can’t trust the connection to last long periods of time, which will shorten my posts (and unfortunately put the legacy in a hiatus), and change the subject of them. So this is where I pretty much lean tLR into a “slice of life” kind of state, and will mainly post stuff about my student life. Boring, perhaps, but I have to take my studies before the blog (I put a lot of money into this and will have a huge debt after this).

So I suppose I’ll start with one post a day. I have quite a many subjects to bring the attention too.

… and that’s about it. Have a good evening, people.
