They live by lakes in tall grass. As their name hints they have only one leg, but their excellent flying skills make up for that. The One-Legged Bird’s average size is that of a seagull, but legend says there exists one huge One-Legged Bird out there by the smallest lake in The Woods.
I get a little sad when I think of the snow children. Their lifespan is very short. They arrive with the first snow and die when the last snow have melted. But they do spend their short time well.
I think the nose is too far up, but there exists such a thing called genetic diversity.
I know it’s kind of redundant to name character just children but that’s the name until I find something more fitting.
Anyway, in the woods (I need a name for that too :P) there lives children of different nature elements. The more children, the more that element is thriving.
Above is a moss child, the signature being big poofy hair.
And this is a flower child, the signature being a flower on the head. A lot more variation since flowers come in more colours than, for example, moss.
Bonus, but not related (yet?) aquarelle.
Stylized this time.
The main character of The Woods. He lives near the heart of the woods in a small cabin. He got kicked out of the lumberjack federation because he grows a tree for each he cuts down. He grows trees with the help of magical seeds he got as a gift from a vagabond druid.
One of the creatures in my latest universe that I’m currently building, I call it The Woods so far.
The name comes from the small arrow on its head. The Arrowowl’s mouth is under its nose, hindering its eating. Therefore it can only eat small things, like insects & vegetation.
The Arrowowl can easily be identified by its lack of a beak and its rainbow tail.
I realize that I need to write all the things I have in my head before they alter too much, and there’s a new category for this universe.
I have 2 more universes in my head. I might put up those too. The Crew has supernatural powers, heaven and hell, time regulation and all that good shit. Alien Universe has aliens (duh!).
